Program Guidelines
At Yodaly, our mission is to empower the next generation of visionaries with the tools they need to execute their visions. In today's dynamic world, bridging theoretical knowledge with real-world experience is crucial for success. Yodaly connects students and young entrepreneurs with seasoned industry experts to foster innovation and accelerate growth through mentorship and real-world insights.
Yodaly is designed to be a catalyst in helping students and early-in-career professionals achieve professional and personal growth. Think of it as a personal board for young minds as they launch their careers to solve real-world problems and drive innovation. We aim to empower these future builders and entrepreneurs with the insights and networks needed to turn their visionary ideas into reality.
Mentors and mentees agree to maintain confidentiality and commit to the success of this partnership.
Mentees understand that mentorship is not sponsorship, skill tutoring, or a job or internship search.
Mentees are expected to take the lead in coordinating schedules and setting up virtual meetings (via Zoom, Meet, etc.).
Mentees are responsible for setting the agenda and clearly communicating the challenges for which they are seeking guidance during the mentorship session.
Mentees should make every effort to give at least one day's advance notice if they need to reschedule a session.
Mentors and mentees are asked to dedicate one hour per month for a minimum of three months. This time can be divided into two 30-minute sessions.
Each mentee will be assigned a mentor at any given time. Mentors can decide how many mentees they can support based on their availability.
If at any time either the mentor or mentee believes that continuing is not beneficial, they can end the mentorship and should communicate this decision to Yodaly.
Mentors agree to provide and promote an open, non-judgmental, and encouraging environment to build trust.
Mentors agree to employ the power of good questions and active listening during sessions.
Mentors should make every effort to give at least one day's advance notice if they need to reschedule a session.
